I wouldn't probably watch this to begin with but the obvious attempts of advertising and the in your face approach of Dove is really a turn off for the show. I don't think the man really knew what he was talking about and I got bored listening to him because of his evident uneducated approach. When he brought in Mexico and related it to the China shows? That was absurd. I think he goes too far over the line as well as dove in the shows. I get dove's approach and I would remember their brand which is the point but it is a negative image when advertising is used at the wrong time, some of those moments in the video made you think could anyone possibly believe this isn't staged? The best advertising is when things are not staged because you don't trust the people that you know are getting paid to say only good things about the product but rather having a person in the show putting on dove deodorant before they go out I think would make the show better as well as be more effective for the dove brand because its more discrete.

I wouldn't watch this if it came to the U.S. I think Dove went way over the line and is taking a wrong approach at product placement. Yes, people may remember Dove from the show but in my opinion it would be through a negative way. I would grow tired of seeing Dove in a majority of the shows. It wouldn't motivate me to go buy the product. I think this man didn't have a clue what he was talking about. I don't understand how you can relate the Mexico market to the Chinese market. I disagree with him and I think this is a bad product placement method.

Just when you thought you have seen it all. haha. I think it is something that would not be able to happen in the United States. I think someone in power would definately draw the linen and not let companies advertise to this extent in television shows.
There have been some things done like this in movies and television shows already, but this saturation of advertising is just too over-the-top.
