This is interesting because, me being a huge fan of the dollar menu I would like to think that it is a good deal. Although I only spend $3.21 on food there I am thinking that it is a great deal. Although It may not be but, I will still continue to go to these places even if it is not a good deal for me. It is the cheapest, most inexpensive food that I can get on the go. As far as paying per calorie... That scares me. I am paying almost $.50 to get fat. That is slightly disturbing. BUT will it affect my buying habits at Mcdonalds, probably slightly. Not enough to make me stop going there. Per. 1 - dan
Many people who dont have a lot of money to spend will shop off the dollar menu at places such as McDonalds. Consumers know that McDonalds foods are not healthy for them but most of them dont care because they just want a good amount of food that tastes good for their money. If they can get a good tasting meal for a low price, they will take it. Brooke Bohnert p.1
