Have you seen the commercial for a new frozen entre free from Kashi.com?
So being the dork marketing guy I went directly to Kashi.com and signed up for it. I liked the spot and it made me go to the site and sign up. I look forward to trying this new product.

Here is where it gets good – I went to send a comment to the folks at Kashi and when I click the topic under FAQ and it simply tells me, at this time we are unable to accept ideas or comments from outside of Kashi. Our professional research and development team are constantly working to improve…..
Really – are they that CA arrogant to NOT accept comments from their consumers? I am truly shocked that a company such as Koshi does not accept comments. In this day and age shouldn't they want to know what their customers think especially since they use a market skimming pricing strategy with plenty of available substitutes?

I think that a lot of products falsely advertise their products. Kashi should accept ideas from the consumers because if they don't they'll have no idea what their consumers like so how can they be successful with their products if the only people that like them are the people that produced them. they have the cite so people can give comments not so they can be turned away because they are so aware of the products the consumers like even though they have no interaction between the consumers because there to arrogant to listen to the people who will eventually but their product.

This is so stupid on so many levels. Like you say in class, how do you KNOW your customers like your products if you basically tell them to "go away, let the smart men at our headquarters do this because you don't know anything"
Maybe there is such a thing as Minnesota/Midwestern nice.

I think it is ridiculous that they don't accept feedback! I think out of respect for the costumers needs and wants (after all you are trying to base your products off of it). I mean even if they had a comment box and didn't even consider the comments, it would be better then just telling the consumers there opinion doesn't matter i mean that is just ridiculous Big companies are becoming too arrogant nowadays.

So...Are they to stuck up to except ideas from their consumers? well that makes a good impression on the returning customer! Atleast say they will take the idea and not tell the consumer about other than shutting them down and out!
First off I wouldn't expect a large company to do this. They need to change that. Even if they don't read the suggestion they should have something that says thanks for the input. This is rude and would make consumers angry. I dont think too many consumers leave input so it won't affect a lot of people but they still shouldn't have this here.
