Should the state of MN fund a Vikings stadium this season? We have federal stimulus money coming that is to be used to create new jobs. A new stadium started this fall would create consistant jobs for two-three years. Look at the Twins & Gophers stadiums and how many companies they used and the number of people hired. Couple that with a few new road projects.....

I think we should because not only would it help the vikings program but it would help with our increase in unemployment. Like you said that it would give jobs to many for a steady 2-3 years. so i think it would be a great addition to this great state of minnesota.

Personally i think it would be better for the vikings if we did and it would create more jobs not only for building it but for people working at it to keep it running. it would bring outdoor football back to the state of minnesota.

I think that in the short run that the new minnesota stadium looks very expensive. I belive that after a couple of years that we will begin to see an increase in ticket sales and that there will be a decrease in the number of unemployed citizens due to the numorous amount of jobs that will need to be filled with the opening of the new stadium. In conclusion this stadium would be a positive investment by the Vikings because it will benifit Minnesota in a positve sercumstance.

I think the vikings should get a new stadium stadium. The stadium would help people get jobs and would boost the vikings confidence causing them to play better there for causing the seats to be filled while bringing money to the franchise meaning that they will advertise there for helping radio stations and t.v stations STARTING A CHAIN REACTION THAT COULD START A WORLD WIDE CHAIN REACTION THAT COULD BRING US OUT OF THE RECESSION. it's a little unlikely but anything is possible. there weren't people 150 years ago thinking there would be things going 75 mph everywhere. the less you rule stuff out the better chance you have succeding.

I feel that this would be a very wise investment for the Vikings, and I feel that it will attract more people to the games because they can control the climate with the retractable roof. So I feel that it will help out the Vikings and it will make football more exciting because of the atmosphere.

i think this is such a stupid idea.after the twins leave they will have there own stadium. why should federal stimulus money be used on a sporting team which is a hobby for people to watch,instead of putting money into our economy.

Yes I think getting a new stadium would be a good idea. The economy is in the dumps, so it will bring more job opertunities for the people who lost theirs. I am also sick of watching the vikings play in the dome. In the long run I think it will be good for Minnesota.

I think the vikings should't get a new stadium. The dome is still in decent shape and the state is already building two new stadiums for the gophers and the twins. Honestly the vikings aren't playing at a high enough level to deserve a new stadium. Why don't they win a super bowl first.
No, I do not like the idea. Why not spend the money else where on roads or something, Make bridges that will not collaspe instead of a stadium for a team that hs no future in the NFL. Jobs can be created through contstruction eetc. Dan C. P.4
Economically I think it would be a very good idea for the state of MN to fund a new Vikings stadium. This could potentially boost the economy in MN and provide for a lot of jobs. The new jobs would provide more money for alot of families. It would also help increase sales.

I think a new stadium for the Vikings would be very wise. It would attract more people and allow more job opportunities. With the way unemployment is right now we could use new job opportunites. With this new stadium it would spike the fans enthusiasim to cheer the Vikings. This would lead to the Vikings confidence level at a high, helping them to win more games!
